The topic was theatre and I figured I'd go all out and do a Roman Amphitheatre... I think this still counts?!
even though this was a long speedpaint timed one at 90 mins, it still wasn't enought time to get all of it done to a degree I'd be happy with.. turns out epic Roman structures are hard to paint.. I need practice!

Nice idea, I just thought of the other kind 
Good layering of ground too, and seating us as one of the masses. Architecture in general tends to be my downfall 
By the way, did you know that the Romans painted their statues? When we see the statues and reliefs from that time we see the white and sandy remains and imagine white and sandy cities to match, but they were actually very colourful. Which is a roundabout way to say that a shot of red would look lovely in this painting
